ED released their first DCS module, the Russian Ka-50 Black Shark attack helicopter, although, right now it's only in Russian, with the English version coming out in the next month or months.  Although, if you really want to give it a go early, you can buy the Russian version and get the English manual to teach yourself how this thing works.  This is the highest fidelity helicopter simulation there is and if you want another study sim like Falcon 4.0, check it out.  Just the flight manual, not including checklists, is 385 pages long! If you're looking for a more arcade-like sim, the flight model and avionics can be simplified to make it a bit less daunting.

Very nice, I might be getting this when the english version comes out!
It's Russian, AND its a helicopter, the best of both worlds!  Grin

that demo from a year ago was really good... 80kmh sideways flight

It doesnt spin around like that Bell 205... you can trim it to hover then let go of the controls (usual airshow trick on a Ka-32 that doesnt have gyro stabilizers like the Hokum has)

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

just took a quick browse through the site, these guys are just brilliant, everything is modeled in complete realism! the improved graphics is a nice touch as well, but with all those systems who wants blistering graphics to get in the way of all those complex calculations
