Just got NHL 09 (Playstation 3 version) from for my birthday, courtesy of the wife, and I was pleasantly surprised before I even started my game to hear some Airbourne in the sountrack. Oh, and the game is AWESOME...if yer into hockey. GO WINGS!!!

(she also got me two cases of Lager, I think I'll keep her)

It will take time to be good...
I played 07 mostly all this year before 08 because well I play hockey so it was really fun. Online isnt much harder its not like madden where you get killed and stuff if you know how to juke someone with the puck mostly A.I. on pro difficulty by just skating then you should be good also you have to know how to deke its the only way to score online practilly...
Thats why I love online NHL because you wont always lose your games horribly if you know how to play the game. But hey I love shootout mostly I am 3000th in the world Roll Eyes

I have improved quite a bit over the past few days, learned the moves and the plays, having a blast with the game, I will get online eventually!

I got my Stanley Cup in 07 and 08 already, hopefully I'll get my 09 before Christmas lol. NHL 2009 is way different than 07 and 08...the old one timer shots aren't as accurate and deadly, plus many other new things I gotta get used to haha

Yeah there is. Im not playing much dynasty right now on NHL im playing lots of online. Although with NHL I dont get bored of it and last year I did 10 years of dynasty. This year I wont get to much into it until online bores me or I feel like killing the AI Grin

..although for my dynasty this year I think I only have it set for 5 years.

Im very happy with NHL 09 although next year I hope the be a pro can be funner like getting drafted or something having your own room and stuff like madden. Who knows what the next big feature will be im sure it will be good although it will be on my reserve list..

Hopefully they can have a reasonable cover boy this year...
I dont think Dion Phenuf (or however you spell it) deserved it...
I was hopeing Marian Gaborik.. Cool
