As per reccomendations from those around me, I have taken up reading again. I scrapped all the old stuff I used to read and started a fresh.

I saw the trailer for 'Twilight' (we are now booking tickets for the day it comes out!) and my good friend told me that the book was also very good.

Just wondering if anyone had read the book themselves, or is interested in the film at all?

I am currently at chapter 8 in the first of the series. I am suprised as I usually read very little (last thing I fully read through was Digital Fortress about 2 years ago!). It is a very interesting book. Vampire based sort of actioney with some romance (aww, I know! I am a sweety!) based in Forks, WA, USA. To cut it short... Normal person meets extraordinary person and from there on it is mostly a mystery as I haven't read that far.

My friend said I remind her of one of the characters, Edward Cullin, though I don't see the resemblance quite yet.

But it is good. I have never had a good use for WHSmith's vouchers in the past, but now I am investing all the ones I get into completing the story. 4 parts, I am a third through the first book after only a few days.

No it's not the aircrafty or vehicle based things I often read... In fact I have never read anything like it, which makes it so much better. My friend said it is a sad ending... Because there is nothing after the fourth book.

Anyone else share the enthusiasm?  Wink
