My first pic  post and my  first payware aircraft for FSX
It's AlphaSim's  F-86 somewhere over NY's Long Island

The F-86 is one of my all time favorites. I had my eye on the AS F-86 for a while and in moment of weakness yesterday, I got it! Smiley

Very nice for your first posted pic! I'm curious though, have you tried the section8 Sabre, and if so how does it stack up to the Alpha version?
Keep them coming! Cool

I'm ruinning FSX so, the section8  f-86 would not be compatable as far as I know.

It's compatible and works great except the cockpit glass is buggy. But that can be fixed Wink Nice shot Smiley

From the shot it appears this one has a slighlty diferent 'shine' and looks a tad more metallic but that could be down to fsx - i havent run the sf8 sabre in fsx just yet so im only guessing on what ive seen soo far Cheesy

Looks good though!

Yeah, it does have some FSX  specific features:

" - full FSX model with all FSX features (bump mapping, self-shadowing, bloom etc)
- FSX model includes V-C SELF-SHADOWING (effect requires FSX SP2, Vista)"

The "shine" does look quite realistic and metalic.

From what I've seen the S8 does appear to have a somewhat better VC.

BTW, I'm running XP

I don't know how the two compare, but this is a nice shot for sure!
