well, I know i didn't give you guys a whole lot to work with. This being largely because of my lack of a system! but, much to my delight, I saw some VERY good entrys.

comming in at first was RAFleigh with this wonderful shot:
...

i think he captured a real nice feeling with this one, becuase who ever let a few clouds get in the way!

next was gtirob01 with another well rounded shot. I thought that it had a nice feel: old plane + the older "velvia" feel makes for a nice shot!

...

and of course not to be ignored were Mrjake's and shanes shots rounding out my top picks!

I look forward to what the old RAF boy can round up for the next comp, it should be a good one! Wink

Well fellas, I somehow Managed to win one of these darn contest thingers! Although we had a pretty good turnout for the first week, I know there are some darn good editors out there!!! ....eh-hem.....farvel,A1, cleobis, you know who you are!

Anyway, After winning with the above shot, I set off into the murky depths of SimV and found this little beauty:

...

If you need be reminded again, add clouds, birds, and ...erm....missiles if you want but NO PICTURES! I want to see you guys stretch this one a bit. The winner will be announced in a weeks time, (next monday) and will be responsible for running the show!

good luck to all!  Wink

Oh, and, Just to make things interesting.....Krigl...your allowed to play along on this one, just don't take any heads off this time  Grin

I'm afraid not....  Angry thats the bad part about doing it this way, but It's a better shot than what would come out of my sim! I can PM the poster and see if he's got one yet or not...

Higher Res would really help seen as not being able to use pictures is really limiting what we can do.  Undecided

I found this plugin pack for PSP9 called Almathera that has an effect that draws lightning, and another one called MuRa's Meister for drawing the clouds. Wink Both sets are free, I don't remember exactly where I got them but I know they came from the same site, I googled free plugins for paint shop 9 and it was one of the first sites I hit. Smiley
Thanks Smiley

I take your point on the higher res bit, it was mentioned in the first one - somtimes i do  my edits from the basic shot that i take in FS from the jpeg thats already resized for simv's requirements then adjust it again afterwards.

However, how do we post the .bmp?

Edit...THAT! differs from EDIT THIS! only in the photographic sense...that was the whole idea!

Ill have a go over the wekend, for sure Cool

Hi.... some nice edits here - however I should say that SOME people can get 'a bit worked up' (understatement) over people editing their work. This comp should, I think, only feature work by the person who is in the 'driving seat' - or if you must use someone else's, check it by PM first.

Cheers
