But does the Marine Corps have a demonstration team?

Yes sir!!!!!!!!!  Uses less fuel, doesn't run the risk of a multi million dollar crash, less noise pollution and still looks BAD ASS!!!!

For the record, there are NO microphones attached to these guys, and yes those are SHARPENED bayonettes attached to the end of their rifles that they are spinning in between the ranks of their fellow platoon mates.  And yes I still love the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds!!!  But I gotta represent my branch  Wink

Every Marine is taught this close order drill, but obviously we aren't as precise and perfected as these guys, which makes them the chosen few of our Demo Team!!  And no our rifle inspection does not look anything like their's!!!!!!!!   Grin

Please note, I do realize I post a lot of military/Marine Corps stuff here at the V, it is all for everyone's entertainment only, I am not trying to recruit or spread propaganda by any means, it's just when your life is surrounded by something you tend to share it.

Let me know if it gets to be too much, again I just share it for entertainment and to bring some people who aren't around the military much a bit closer to the action  Smiley

Not exactly silent with all those smacks of the rifle.  Grin

But yeh, I get the point.

Very, very good. I wish the people at cadets would atleast try and work towards looking something like they, and other militaty drill teams, do when marching.

Last parade we did (one for the town for the mayor) the sea cadets had rifles with bayonets... but apparently they were plastic. It's just no fun unless you are carrying around a few kilos of well carved wood.

Hehe. Another reason why I prefer the metal L98A1 over the wooden L81A2... isn't so darn heavy to hold.

Quick add on to my thread, it's shows the bayonette scene much better (2:00 into the vid)

The rest of the show is good too, alittle more detailed than the other two I had posted.  They do an excellent rifle inspection in this one, very entertaining, in my opinion.
