NAVY !?!?!?  Since when does the Navy start flying vipers?  Brown ones at that?

Ok I'm off my pedestal LOL

All your shots of the F-16 are gorgeous, makes me want to buy it, helluva VC and terrific 3D model.  I have FSX and might buy it down the road, but for now I'm stickin to FS9  Wink

By the way, how does it sound?  Its not some cheap vacuum cleaner sounds is it?  Payware has to sound good for me to fork out any cash.  Sound and secondary sounds (seatbelt signs, APU, radar alerts, engine startups) makes the realism go up ten fold in my opinion, it's a major factor I take in to account before I buy.

Beautiful plane! Beautiful sky too! Does the package include F-16L & Block 60 F-16?

Anxyous got it right, the Navy operates aggressor F-16s out of Fallon.

If I'm not mistaken, I heard that Turbine Sounds Studio did the F-16 sounds, and they are great, everything is modeled, from the engine spooling to each little switch being clicked.

The package includes the F-16A, AM, and Block 50/52 Cs with the MLU cockpit, so it's only single seat, current model F-16s with appropriate loadouts.

I took pics of them...

Smiley, they shot off their afterburners at the end, in unison, then did a flyback for me and landed at the NAS (KNZY, I took those from the villa that we rented for the week).

And also, Turbine Sound Studios DID do the F-16 sounds, and they're absolutely astounding.

Well look at that, I used to be stationed across the harbor from NAS North Island  Cool  I was at MCRD for three years, which is practically on top of Lindbergh Field, a shame I wasn't into spotting back then, I'm going to head back that way and get some spotting in from the side of the runway (it's jut a fence that seperates MCRD from the runway of Lindbergh, incredibly close.  I'll probly get on North Island's flight line as well and see if there's any action.  It's good to have a military ID hehe.

I remember looking at your photo, but it didn't even dawn on me they were Navy.  Good stuff!

Ah, well, if you go there, don't ask about stories of N3150W in August...

The ATC at KNZY asked us to identify what type of plane we were and we said varga, and he was like "Sir, this isn't a joke, please state your aircraft type" or something to the effect, and we finally got it through to him. (That's not the story, though it's one of the two or three).

Yeah, y'know the Hotel Del Coronado? That's where we were, in "beach village".

Nice! A beautiful, historic landmark.  Been to many conferences held there (working...setting up communicatios of course lol... I'm not important enough to be a part of a meeting being held at HDC)

Our General was always going over there to attend conferences and we had to follow him to ensure all his communications devices behaved.
