Hi all, why can you only select 3 numbers in Carenado's 182Q ADF? How do you get to NDBs with .frequencies, e.g. 345.5?

Cheers

I'm not aware of any NDBs with decimal places xxx.x  They are usually just the three digits.

I think I've seen a few...

Dunno what the solution is, but if the frequency is 345.5, you could try 345 and 346.

There are loads in the UK!

Anxyous, I've tried that and it didn't work unfortunately. Seems Carenado only like to cater for Americans, they can't even provide the altimeter setting in millibars  Angry

Well, it's an American plane, what would you expect? Huh

But I agree, a decimal feature would at least be nice, but as for barometric pressure, I've gotten used to inches mercury...

American planes do appear in other countries you know.. and guess what? The altimeters use millibars  Smiley

Yeah, but remember this plane is from the fifties, and the version is probably the American one, so you can't expect them to take UK NDB's into account.

What do you mean by millibars? If you're talking about European planes sure, but I don't know what you mean, if it's the C182 you're talking about  Undecided
