Download FSHOSTSPY, run that before you open FS2004, select a server, copy the ip, open FS2004, go to multiplayer, enter in the ip (CTRL+V) and BAM you're done Smiley

Wii has got it pretty well covered, using FS Host Spy!.Wink...!

FS 2004 makes it  extremely easy to get connected to Multiplayer with no problems, (especially if you have a Modem only, and do not have Router connected!...Wink...)... Smiley...!

Just observe the rules on etiquette, and do not annoy other Flyers on line!...Wink..!

syed,

Hi and welcome to SimV.

Unfortunatley there is another issue that is important for the OTHER people who want to use the fsHost server.  If you don't do this some OTHER players will not be able to connect to the server or wuill get booted off.  And you might experience some "unexplained" termination on the server as well.

You MUST first open the correct ports on your machine before connecting, router or not.  This includes allowing "exceptions" in your firewall program(s).

See the two or three stickies at the top of this forum for instructions / discussion.  Use the "port test" program from Chocolatesoftware that is listed there to confirm you have things set up correctly.

best,
