FINALLY I have found a piece of scenery that is up to par with Flytampa's Kai Tak (best scenery for FS, ever, period)

London VFR is a VERY VERY VERY close second in my opinion and here is why:

1. The city IS more personalized then HK, every singel building youd find in london you can see on this scenery, its ridiculous. you can literally find everything, probably the most accurate depiction of a place I have ever seen, ever.

2. With that said, FPS went from my usual 30's to 14. Having said that, I have everything pretty much maxed out, and rendered all the custom 3d buildings, was flying an addon aircraft, and had FEX clouds. So, NOT BAD!! but HK is less of a hit, and same stunning quality. im on the crappiest RAM/MB combo imaginable, so if ppl got similar specs to mine on a good mb and ram, youll run in above 20FPS with everything on MAX. Performance was surprisingly good, i thought i was gonna get 2-5 FPS on max, but got a flyable 14/15, in the 20's 1/3 of the time.

Takeoff from London City Airport

...

Millenium Dome

...

Dock Area, some awesome made buildings there, these pics do not do them justice at all

...

Tower Bridge, City Hall on the left, Tower of London - her majesties royal palace and fortress on the right

...

The London Eye, Saatchi Gallery right behind it

...

Big Ben (clock tower) and Parliament right behind it, west minster abbey to the right
...

Buckingham Palace, Victoria Memorial  in fornt of it, St. James's Park behind it

...

More of the famous places

...

Now, knowing what all these buildings are you'd think i lived in london. Have never been there in my life. I google maped it all, and what do you know, the scenery is EXACTLY like the real counterpart, so now Im becoming really good in identifying everything there, and im sure when i go to london for the first time, ill know where things are!

I love Aerosoft, and along with PMDG and Flight1 theyre my favorite FS companies, so I really recommend if you like these screenshots, to go out and get this, so they can keep on making more great stuff!

I'm quite tempted, for someone who goes to London nearly every year, it looks excellent.

Richard

yes and no. the airport you saw on the picture is just temporary.

they are finishing development of the airport and will include it in an update soon.

they only released the downlaod version, as they want to finish the airport to include it in the boxed version before that goes on sale.

so yes, it will include the airport once they finish making it, as a free update.

for me its well worth it. exciting scenery with a lot of stuff to do. i actually want to get a boat and go up and down the river a few times, and then do some heli tours around

make sure your pc can run it though. 2gb ram, 512 graphics, 3.0+quad at least to get it smooth at max, and nickn's optimizations.

I've got a dual core 2.53 Ghz, GeForce 7050, and 4gb ram. Are they ok?

youre gonna struggle with this one. i would not buy it with those specs, you wont be able to have weather, youll have to reduce the buildings, detail, ai ships and traffic. it wouldnt be worth it. the main culprit is the processor, followed by the graphics card. you need at least 3.0 in a quad to run this smooth with high frames on max settings.

sorry mate :/

Disagree. A 2.5GHz dual core will work fine at medium high to high settings but the card may struggle a bit.
Source = A dual core at 2.5ghz 3gbs ram and an 8800gt 512mb can max fsx with 15fps and a steady 30at high (minus traffic though Tongue)
