? Or, if neither one would be appropriate, what might work for that system?
The intention is to run FS9, and later (a few months from now) FSX.
Keep in mind, I haven't purchased anything, yet.

System seems ok but if going for a 9 series card don't go anything lower than one of the 9800s. It would be better to go with an 8800GT or higher.
Newegg has recertified
8800 Ultra's
for $130. (Can anyone comment on the reliability of these please?)
Tigerdirect
also has them for $200.
