Hi all!

Been looking around this forum for a while and decided to register now. I´m not shure this is the right subforum. Feel free to move it.
Hope anyone can help me with this delicate problem.

Each time i start FSX and it starts to draw the plane on the main menu screen the computer reboots.

I have tried:

1. Other memorys
2. Disabling Automatic Reboot. It still reboots.
3. Flashed BIOS
4. Reset BIOS
5. Cleaned up and installed new graphics drivers.
6. Started in safe mode.
7. Checked temps. They are normal (~40*C)
8. Reinstalling FSX.

Since i cant get a bluescreen i cant tell whats wrong.

If anyone could help me i would be really happy.

Have A Nice Day!

Does the screen go crazy?

If you use Vista, try switching to the standard theme first.

Nope, not that i can see. It just reboots so quick that sometimes i don´t get to see the menu.

Standart theme = Windows 98 style?

Hi Nick and all!

I made a new graphics card cleanup and went for Omega drivers. And now so far it´s working. I´ll press some hours out of it and let you know if it works.

Have A Nice Day!

FSX automatically turns to standard mode on start up Wink

When running Aero, it'll switch to Basic, but I've had problems where the screen would go crazy, and the computer would crash, giving a message of the screen drivers not being able to update or something...

But I always manually switch to Standard before booting the sim, it takes up less resources than the system switching to and from Aero.

Well the drivers did the trick. But i´m no fan of FSX so FS9 continues to rule my PC.

Thanks to all that replied.
