Interesting!...Wink...Smiley...Smiley...!

I've got the various Payware versions of "18 Wheels of Steel....etc..."...>>>

http://www.scssoft.com/aa.php

Loads of fun, and I purchased a steering wheel and pedals* to enjoy it to the full...Wink...!

After spending 10+ years Sim Flying around the USA I found it quite educational to travel the various familiar routes, and enjoy the countryside by road instead.. Smiley...!

It might not be everyone's Cup-of-Tea, but it makes a pleasant change from the Flight Simulator, now and again..Wink..!

F...With a Peterbilt Tractor Unit....Honk-honk!... Cool

Does it include traffic jams, jack knifed trucks, other truckers giving you the bird, other truckers blaming car drivers for the accidents they are in, joining the queue for diesel at the truckstop as those ahead of you eat big massive burgers and drink man sized cups of coffee inside the shop whilst you fume and get irate outside in the queue?

How about the parking up at night bit of the simulator, does it have pikeys who come and knife your curtains, steal your diesel, and generally steal anything they can get there hands on?

Does include the queues at the various places you go to get tipped, and other lorry drivers jumping the queue? Do you get fat smelly lorry drivers coming up and talking trucks with you whilst waiting?

And of course we need the wheel tapper part of the simulator, where the ministry pull you over, and find fault with everything, hold you up for many hours, but let you go if your a foreign trucker in the UK?

If not, i aint interested Grin

There is damage ...... just not visual ... the point of the simulation is to progress, through making money, to upgrade your truck and through expanding into new countries thus gaining more money per load. Crashing damages your load and therefore your pocket ...... it also costs in repairs to the truck.

This latest Truck Sim certainly has improved on the "Ground Textures" slightly, over "Wheels of Steel...".

The quality of the Vehicles appear to be very similar though.

F---G-BPLF... Cool...!

I would love to see a North America Version..Wink...!

I wonder if it includes that 'special little extra' that happens when you leave your running lights on in the truck stop overnight....  Wink
