Sounds like you have a handle on it. Study hard.. get your career going.. then start saving..
The only advice I'd give, is to take whatever amount it is that you expect to spend to get the license.. and then double it. Don't start until you can go at it seriously. Taking a lesson here and there when you have extra cash, will make the whole thing cost more, AND you'll get less out of the training. It's best to be able to put the cost out of your mind and just FLY..

Yeah I wanna become a pilot but I have horrible eyes and if I can get that fixed and get selected for training after college ill be glad to but I want to take my route through the Navy Military.
I have heard getting your lessons by paying isnt the same as the Military and it cost alot of money
...
Although of course I have backup plans if I cant become a pilot.. i'd like to lead a vessel or an aircraft carrier (at least ill be around jets if I work on a Carrier)
Sincerely, Tyler

Well, after you have spent three years at university, racked up god knows how much in student debt, then taken your gap year, more expense and then found a job (fingers crossed). After you have finished paying it all off, you should be able to start your pilot training.................................in about 10 years

How much does a commercial pilots license usually cost? In the U.K.

i come from a wealthy family thank God, i will hopefully be in no debt if i get a degree in 3 years....and no, i wont take a gap year to work in tescos so i can start saving for flying lessons coz that wont even be enough for driving lesson, but anyway, it wont build up more debts! yea, maybe it will take 10 years, but 10 years of an aviation engineering career.....
ps, sorry, i couldnt resist
