hi res version

Edit* i have been getting alot of comments about the colour on black and white

i did that on pourpose to give it that "lost, out in the middle of nowhere feel" and to enhance the P-51 and the pilot (being the subject of the Picture)

Mind if I post some criticism?

The concept is nice. But to be honest, I don't see that much of a connection between the composite material and the background image.

The background image is in black and white, while the composite material is in colour. This only augments the disconnection.

Another point, is the hole on the tail section of the Mustang, seems to be luminous, and doesn't conform to the lighting situation.

Hope I have helped. Wink

That's a very cool concept, I personally like themix of the B&W and color, gives it kind of a 'fog of war' feel to it. Makes me think of the Battle of the Bulge. Wink(just watched band of brothers!)

There stands one very lucky pilot.  Wink Very nice. I can see where you put a lot of time and effort into it. I also like the way you made use of color. Without it you wouldn't see the aircraft for the trees.

Certianly got that 'ardennes' feel to it. Brilliantly done - only the hole on the fuselage stands out a bit too much, if i were to be super critical, my eyes where drawn straight to it.

But hey, its quite somthing! Nice work!
