Careful, there, Rajiv. You could get so many requests you'll spend the rest of your life designing them. I have one I'd like to see modeled. It was being done by a member here, but his computer got virused and it's all gone. He never did an off-site back-up. We lost two years of work. That was back in April 2008. Neither of us have had the time or heart to start over again...

My system: AMD Phenom 9500 cpu, 2 x eVGA e-GeForce 8800GTS Superclocked vidcards (640Mb DDR3 each), Zalman "sunflower" 9700 fan, Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4 mobo, 4Gb G.Skill PC2-6400 DDR2 800Mhz RAM, 2 x Sony 20X DVD writers, Thermaltake Toughpower 850W modular p/s, 7 x 120mm fans, Windows XP Home and SP3, 2 x 250Gb Western Digital SATA-300 HDs (1 for apps, 1 for storage and precious files backup), CoolerMaster CM 690 case, NOD-32. Won't run FSX. Locks up a lot with FS9, too.

Yeah! But it's completly european (French&German)...  Wink And way smaller (I think) than a C130! And: there's only one single model for FS (2002 ?!), that was made by the german airforce (but it's payware - and since my rig is crap, I don't want to spend money on add-ons until I have it upgraded...  Embarrassed).

I've been flying with the Tral from Germany to Crete for a missile-shooting at NAMFI (see left) - a great experiance!  Cheesy

Eric Cantu became famous for his spectacular Boeing 737-200. Many people complimented it.

I however, can't fly 2d, only VC and I doubt it is FSX SP 2 compatible  Cry

I would love to oneday see someone design a decent 737-200 with VC.

hint....hint....

Just a pityy Wilco's 737 in command is so overpriced  Cry Atleast that 727-400 is close enough  Cry

Hello Rajiv,

Please be aware there is a HUGE difference between creating an aircraft (which takes months usually) & repainting or adapting one.

The C182 you have uploaded is the default FS9 C182 & is not adapted for FSX as the panel & sound are aliased to FS9.

The F18 you uploaded today is the Team KBT package repainted by Gary Smith with multiple liveries. You did claim credit for making the model but it is very important not to state you have created a model when you have not.

Can you please tell me your contribution to either package apart from uploading?

Thank you.

I'm skeptical too.

1) pretty much everyone says that creating an add-on is a time consuming endevour, so someone just jumping in and saying that he is willing to fill requests like this is unusual, unless they have plenty of time on thier hands and plan on doing a lot of "alias" for anything that can be "aliased", and is a genius of some sort. (It could happen!)

2) The FA-18 comparisons does not look promising.  Removing the original textures and replacing them with different textures is not "creating" anything.

3)  I'm with GarryRussel, lets see something unique, made from the ground up.  The more unique, the better.  Something never seen in any of the FS editions would be nice, and there are hundreds of things to choose from.

A short list:

Starfighter from the 80's Buck Rogers TV series
Batwing from the 80's  Batman movie.
50's style "Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon" rocket ships, complete with "skyrocket buzzing rocket effects".
The "GunStar" from "The Last Star Fighter".
Narn heavy fighter from Babylon 5 (or any of the ships from B-5 that haven't already been done, and only two have been, so far)
The "Grissom" from Star Trek, The Search for Spock
The "Excelsior", from the same movie.
The Heart of Gold, from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy,  either the movie or the BBC mini series version.

But that's just a "short list" of things I plan on making once I figure out GMAX.  (And if any of the above are already available as freeware, I'd like to know where to get it!!!!) But I digress...

Rajiv, we do not like attention seekers here nor people who claim to be the creators of other people's hard work.

The 3 models you have presented are not yours in any way. You have created neither models or textures for any of the aircraft you claim credit to.

1st you ask if anyone wants an aircraft. You claim credit for other's work & now you are changing this thread into a poll for active military aircarft.

Need I say more? To anyone?  Roll Eyes

Rajiv,

What seems to be so hard about posting a pic of your work?

Frankly, as some one who develops planes myself, I can see many holes in your posts. You are making a lot of claims here, and the proof so far is non-existent. It is unfair to people that think you will make them a plane, and it is also unfair to honest developers when you seem to be claiming their work as yours.

And before I'm questioned as to my developing background...
I released "Pete" a year ago (modified Pietenpol AirCamper), I did the FSX conversion of Lionheart Creations Super Viking, and I'm currently doing work for FSD. I've been doing this for 10 years...I am very familiar with what is required to make a plane fly in FS.  I knew something was odd from your original post. Nobody does 'special orders', especially for free!

A google of "3d Cad Creator" came up dry... Roll Eyes

Time to come clean  Angry

You claim you make models but now you say it is textures with the help of you Dad

Tell us to look at textures we are saying..you show us your models

There are real developers here and you are irritating them

You keep changing your story.

You came on offering to make any model people want

How long do you think it take to make a model??

You said you were a designer

There is no evidence you are

Rajiv, You didn't create those aircraft. The 182 is the default FS9 182 and the Texan was by Vasco Ferreira.

We are a friendly bunch here but provided you are a genuine guy. One of the biggest no-no's in the FS world is to claim credit for other people's work.

Also see this

I want you to create a sphere, just a sphere. And post it. If you can do that, I might give you the benifit of the doubt. I've been messing with Gmax since I got FS9 three years ago, and I still can't make a sphere.
While I'm no genius, I'm not totally lost on computers, and if I can't figure out how to do something, then it must be pretty damn hard and time intensive.

A simple sphere, your choice of size and color. Huh

I feel you pain.  Smiley

I'm at that exact same point, though making the sphere is easy enough with the "sphere tool".  I saved that to the gamepak folder, but now the question is how do I get it from a .gmax extension to a .mdl extension, then get that to show up laying around the end of a runway?   Huh

Well

Not only did he never fool me, he also upset a friend of mine by using his stuff without permission.

I've spent two years on and off building my first models. Research alone can take many weeks to get enough to start.

Plans are needed......pics...........pilots notes........a whole host of things

What was being offered was ridiculous in the extreme and very irritating to those that do put a lot of effort into creating add ons.

I have them too.  They work just fine in FS9, but FSX gives a big fat, "Cannot display visual model" (Got a few like that like the HL-10)

Umm, the guy was a poser. His idea of "making" an add-on was playing swap-a-roo with models and textures.

I don't want to sound crass, but believe it or not, if you *really* want an add-on that's not available, and you've looked on every possible web site with downloads, it would be much easier to download the software and dive in.  That's what I decided to do, and I'm starting work on my first add-on.

Given he effort involved, if someone does jump in and volenteers to generate your request (For free), I'd personally e-mail the Pope a recomendation for Sainthood.

OTOH, if you are flying FS9, there's a FS2002 Duke 60 on FS2002 props pages 3, 15, and 24.  You might give them a shot (If you are using FS9).

Bugger, i missed this post until now.

One thing i would like, is a complete set of Harriers, from kestrel through to AV-8. Including all the versions the RAF used, and all the versions of the Sea Harrier the Royal Navy used. Plus full 32bit texture packs (HD textures would be better) for both if your Dads helping. Various load outs would be cool also. Fs9 and FSX capability is a must.

One AV-8 will suffice as its the British versions im really after, but may as well have the complete history included in one pack, dont you think?

Id really like you to nail the flight dynamics perculiar to this aircraft, so that i can hover and do VTOL's with ease.

If i can have it by 8am tomorrow that would be good.

Cheers

Tomorrow, I want a F-22 with completely accurate FDE's, and I'll be talking with Max Moga (the Raptor Demo pilot) this weekend, so I'll know if they're off, and I also want it with a high poly count that looks astounding, as well as a custom paint job for all of the 123 raptors made so far, including the YF-22, and I want thrust vectoring, too!

All before 9:00 AM please.

Fed up of blooming waiting. And i dont want any 'coming soon' posts about it neither. Get your finger out.

Well, im a tad dissapointed to say the least. Not a word from you or your dad on my requested harrier pack. Sad

Im guessing your struggling with the kestrel bit. Or your a complete liar.

However, for your next project, should you choose to accept it (IF YOU WANT AN AIRCRAFT JUST LET ME KNOW - remember?) id like the following:-

A full set of US navy Tomcats from prototype to the 'D'. This time, only US NAVY, to make it somewhat easier, im not interested in any grumman liveries, nor in any Iran liveries. But i insist on full HD textures, FSX and FS9 compatibility, full working VC, and a decent 2d to boot.

I want auto wing sweep, full carrier landing capability, including launch and the possibility of firing missiles, whilst tracking 24 targets at once.

As an added extra because your late on the Harrier, id like a special texture, that of Maverick and Goose, plus the later aircraft Maverick flew when Goose gone and died after a flame out and subsequent ejection. Id like goose to look like he did in topgun also on the pilots faces, not how he looked in ER. Same goes for Mr Cruise, i dont want an old Mr Cruise, i want the young, fresh, ladies favorite Mr Cruise, as he was in the film.

Tuesday at 8am would be good, as i really want to do a screenshot set for here with the 'Jolly Rogers' - the full squadron -  so please make haste. If your dad helps instead of going to work, you could have it done monday night.

Cheers then.

I think you're wasting your time. This topic is dead. If you care to check his profile the person that posted it hasn't logged on since October 11th. Somehow I think he already got the message.

Hi there,

I've finding the aircraft IL-114 in Sim and everywhere but no one have do this wonderful aircraft. I just finished doing the panel and radio.

http://www.airliners.net/photo/Vyborg/Ilyushin-Il-114/1357097&tbl=photo_info&pho...

It's very similar to Saab aircraft. And I hope it's for FSX.
The panel is 100% for FSX.

Careful, there, Rajiv. You could get so many requests you'll spend the rest of your life designing them.

You really should read through the thread.  The guy that started the thread was a poser.  A fake.  An imposter.  A fraud, even.

Yes it should.  Leaving it here is somewhat misleading to the casual reader/poster that has not read the thread to the point where the fraud was exposed.

OK......... I'm gonna lock this thread up simply because it apparently has become a "red herring" in people's legitimate searches for add-ons.

It appears that the original poster who started the whole topic no longer is responding to any things here and it is pointless that this thread keep luring in people either to make new requests for add-ons or to make snide or disparaging comments about the original person.

It is serving no positive purpose here on SimV.

If someone is looking for a new aircraft add-on, please post a separate thread requesting that aircradft with an appropriate title line.

Thanks.
