Why close it? The OP has gone, and likely won't be back. If anything it's shown that all members are responsible people who condemn piracy... which is a good thing.

There isn't! We just don't host it because the association with piracy. The majority of its use is unlikely to be for anything other than convenience & better performance by legitimate FS9 purchasers. IMO, as in FSX & most programs,  MS should never had required the CD to be used & should have released a 'piracy unfriendly no-cd patch' for FS9 a long time ago.

Anyway this thread has run it's course & is deviating from what we should be doing here - talking constructively.  Smiley
