What time zone is the server/contests and such on? I would like to sync mine up so I'm not feeling like a day ahead or behind. Huh Thanks! Smiley

F....G-BPLF... Cool...!

If you tick the "Enable automatic Daylight Savings Time change" box it should do what it says. That should save you a lot of confusion. Wink

I've always had that box ticked, but it only seemed to affect the Forum Server's time (Eastern Standard Time), rather than my local time...Roll Eyes...!

I've always had to correct my local time manually on the day that it changes.

F.... Cool...!

I can't remember when the forum was last updated so this might be a new feature. I just unchecked the box & it shows the time an hour earlier than it is. This is correct as we're still in BST which is GMT + 1 hour.

I've had it set on my local time since I joined, thing is I want to set it for whereever contest deadlines are decided, that way I don't wind up missing the boat because I live on the other side of the planet. Wink Cheesy
I currently have it set to GMT/UTC+0 and my clock on Simv says it's 6:46pm, but it's 1:42pm here in Ohio. Not a big deal, just my OCD getting the best of me! Grin Wink Thanks. Smiley

Why not select your local time in your Profile, from the drop down list...

..Eastern Standard Time...

Cool, for some reason I thought SimV was run mostly from Europe. Wink
That will make it alot easier then.

This is an international forum. The members that set & judge the competitions are spread all over the globe. I'm not sure which time zone they use for deadlines. Possibly GMT. Might be best to ask someone like Fly2e.
