In AFCAD, you can add an autogen exclude around the area you want them gone from Smiley.

AFCAD v1.4.0/v2.21 is an airport design program for FS2002/2004. It does not work with FSX, nor does it have an 'exclude' function.

Here are a couple of airport design programs for FSX that do have the 'exclude autogen' function:

If you have the FSX-SDK installed (only available with FSX Deluxe) then Airport Design Editor (ADE), freeware.

If you do not have the SDK, then  Flight1's Airport Facilitator X (AFX), payware.

If the autogen you're excluding is not in reasonable proximity to an airport then SBuilderX, freeware, may be more useful (SDK required). SBuilderX support forum.

Perfect, I downloaded ADE.

Now, how to exclude the autogen with it?

Thanks Smiley

I use AFX, not ADE, so for that you'll have to wait for someone else to respond...or.....

The online user manual can be found here: http://www.scruffyduck.org.uk/ade_help/

The ADE support forum is here: http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=95

Make sure you have installed the full package, v1.2, and the update package, v1.37.

I appreciate all the help, but the exclusion rectangle seems to work on most things, except trees Sad

But thanks! Smiley

If you visit the ADE forum I thinkyou'll find your answer. A normal exclusion rectangle does not remove autogen. But, as I recall, working with the 'airport background poly' will.

After a lot of blood, sweat and tears, I finally managed to remove those trees!

And I'm having a blast with ADE as well! Creating a fictional version of SABA...

Thank you very much for your help! Lemme know if you ever need anything! Smiley
