I see that Desktop Aviator has a new Avionics Panel without the key. They call it the Model 2100. And it's $10.00 cheaper then the 1010B

I was going to wait until this is finished, but decided to give a sneek peek following this thread. My cost for this has been in the region of €40. And I have a lot more functions than both "boxes". It all runs of an old keyboard card including the rotaries without any input card. I have used pulse rotaries. You do not need any form of I/O interface with them due to the manner in which they push out thier signal depending on which direction you turn them. The push buttons are all single pulse too. As of this time, all switches and rotaries function perfectly. I have just the last two rotaries to install. The birds nest is just to find the wires for the keyboard commands. The last thing will be to solder them to a small PCB, but just for esthetics's. I could just put the lid on...........what the eye can't see, the heart can't grieve for Grin, but it would drive me mad to know. The box is made from 4mm ply and cost me €3 for a large sheet. The fascia is printed out using a freeware panel printing program.
Lastly, like the other boxes, it screws directly onto my Saitek yoke. One thing to add. It only runs with FSCUIP full version.
