Hi there!

I just need some help on working WOAI.

I got the installer package, and it looks straightforward, but don't I need anything else, like a menu program to manage all the installed airlines, and setting traffic density and the like?

Over time, I'd like to switch 100% to WOAI...

Thanks Smiley

WoAI installer will take care of everything, as long as you install to FS rather than using the 'Manual Installation' option.

It will install the traffic file and add/update any aircraft as required by the package.

Once you have installed packages, use the Expert mode in the installer to view info, and manage if necessary, the packages installed.

For traffic density, use the slider in the sim as you did before. All/most WoAI flight plans use varying traffic density % similar to default flight plans.

Delete the file which looks like Traffic280503.bgl from the FS2004 Root folder > Scenery > World > scenery folder.

In FSX the default traffic file is 'trafficAircraft.bgl'.

Rather than deleting the file just move it somwhere safe or you can 'disable' it by changing the filename.extension, Example rename trafficAircraft.bgl to trafficAircraft.original.

Note: Actually, installing WoAI packages will 'disable' the default traffic. The WoAI traffic files are in FS2004 format. FSX will not use FS2004 and FSX traffic files at the same time. When it sees the FS2004 traffic files it will ignore the FSX files, trafficAircraft.bgl (airlines and GA) and trafficBoats.bgl (ships and ferries)
