Just a quickie, sniping with my R700, if it werent for the fact i had claymores instead of bandolier i might of had less deaths, but i got desperate and rushed with my pistol to grab as many kills as i could before i went down(Picking up an M4 here and there hehe)

I just realized it, they're using Marine Corps chevrons to display rank (except for the 5 star general, doesn't exist in the USMC)
Just thought I would point that out, it has no sigificant use to this thread.

Large caliber is my preference of course, but any belt fed weapon will make a Marine smile
Small rounds, big rounds, don't matter to me as long as they are linked and fired at a high rate!

The M240, M249, and M2 are always fun to shoot....

You both got it wrong... Happiness is picking up the radio and calling in an air strike
Well, happiness is actually being the pilot/WSO of said aircraft, but I might be biased, being a C/4C in AFROTC.
AIR POWER!

Dare I say it? PKM! W0ot.
Although, I agree with your point Elite Marksman. Nothing like aiming a laser designator at a building, and watching a GBU-12 slam into it.
Or "radioing" in napalm.

I don't know about you, but Big Truck and I are talking from experience when it comes to shooting belt fed weapons. When was the last time you got to call in an air strike in on the college campus?
Running around with C-4 blowing stuff up is also fun....

Being a Communicator I get the best of both worlds and I gotta back Essel on this one, shooting is way more fun than talking on a radio and waiting for a bored F-18 pilot to make his way over and drop ordinance. Yeah the big boom is awesome and I get a rush from it, but I still prefer 200 rounds of ammo and 30 seconds to get rid of it

There were a couple missions where the Marines we were out on mission with had called in an airstrike, but sadly, the powers to be decided against it

As usual, leave it to the brass! (sitting in the rear polishing a chair with their butt and not knowing what is going on out there in the fight)
We always used either Chopper or Harrier support for our missions and being an engineer unit we were never turned down. (wasnt a frequent request from us, but they were quick and timely when we did call them in, just wish the F-18's would have dropped in for a few missions)

We had helicoptor support quite a bit, and even had a dedicated fighter flying overwatch for us on a couple missions.
I'm sure you remember the fighter jets doing their show of force maneuvers? The first time we heard one of those, guys were literally diving for cover...lmao

Screw calling in the airstrike nothing like being in a F-16 , F-18 and releasing that GBU.

Sure do, matter of fact I have a vdeo of an F18 doing a show of force over us during a training exercise on the big island of hawaii. Didn't get any in Iraq though, only show of force we got out there was the two choppers (a huey gunship and a cobra) orbiting over us as we plodded along
