For those that fly online on FSHost servers, and want to use some sort of TACAS gauge to monitor the other player's positions, you need an inteface program that injects the multiplayer participant's position data into the fs2004 and fsx TACAS table.

At the moment the only available option is an OLD program called AIBridge.

AIBridge is very unreliable and problematic.  It causes lots of problems with people connecting online on the FSHost server and is prone to quitting mid-session with the dreaded "AIBridge has experienced a problem and needs to close.  We apologize .... blah , blah, blah" message.

There is a great need for a GOOD new replacement.

Anyone want to tackle it?

I'm still hoping that someone will tackle this project.  TACAS working online when on FSHost flight servers is really important for multiplayer flights.  Flying online is all about keeping track of the people you are flying with.

I KNOW that this is certainly doable, because the payware FSNavigator has/had a rock steady TACAS ability built into it on FSHost servers.

Jose has released the source code for the 2.0 Version of AIBridge into public domain.  I don't know how that relates to the 2.4 or the last 3.0 versions that are still around but have not been updated in YEARS...... but it should give someone at least a "starting place" to tackle this.

You can find the source code here:
