G'day guys,

Just have a problem that's been bugging me - I used to do a lot of painting inf FS2K2 years ago and now am having a stab at FS2K4 paints of the default aircraft.

Problem is, I can't get the decal file of the default B747 looking as good as a lot of 'pro' painters around the place - my logos turn out too small (If I use the whole tex, they spill over the top and bottom and look stupid) and there's a thick border of the alpha channek when you zoom out...

Take a look Wink
...

There's never the thick black lines on other people's Alpha Channel paints in FS2K4, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I'm using PSP9 to make the bitmaps, MS paint to make the 'green or black' alpha colour and DXTbmp to convert the tex for FS2K4...

If anyone also has the expertise to make a JAL decal for the DF 747, please let me know Smiley

Thanks guys for your help Wink

Thanks guys, I solved the problem - unchecking mipmaps in DXTbmp fixes it right up.

Not sure of the reasons why, but it works! Wink
Cheers
