Can I run ground environment X and ultimate terrain X together.

I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I really dont know.

Yes

We made a special set of textures for those who use UTX

You can see images of them here

http://gex.flight1.net/Gallery.htm

many of the shots in thae gallery have both in them

Its not required you purchase both. GEX works with or without UTX

If you can spare the cash for both you will not be sorry, the two of them combined makes for great scenery.  You may also want to look at land classes (I use Scenery Tech) and terrain meshes (I use FS Genesis).

I use UTX, GEX, and FEX.  It's a total FS environment.  Individually they are great. Together they are awesome! And when FEX adds in their upcoming weather engine it will be even better.

ahh good ol gex...

...

but seriously, i would listen to nick on this one, it would by my logic work considering their both flight 1 products, and usually a publisher wouldn't try to release 2 scenery addons that conflict with each other, unless one is for instance a light version.

Best investment you will make for FSX. It gives a whole new level of realism.
