For as long as I can find something to improve. I have been learning to add new thhings and features the whole time, so I have been able to improve it several times. This is most likely the last version. I'll have to find something else to work on.

Why not use this opportunity to learn a little about Gmax?  It's simple to get started with, and this would be a perfect project to start out with.

I would have thought that is you were making an airport you would be making the correct building for it.

Best learn the model making tool then you can create it properly.

The hangar is only a shaped box not a difficult project to learn on. Wink

I'll give it a try, as soon as I can install the program. When I try to unzip it, I get some error message. Can I have a link to the download, I had it installed at one point, but I got rid of it.  Angry

Go here for download...you have to register

Gmax is on you FS 9 disk but if you download that you still need to go to this site to register it so you might as well do it all there

It's all free

Gmax is a model making programme

To create the textures you need a paint programme

Gimp is free...I have never tried it but it uses layers which is important and it does get used, so seems to idicate it's OK.

As with the model there will not be a need for very sophisticated textures so that will almost certainly do..

It's not a zipfile so you can't extract it.. Double-click on gmax12.exe to run the installation program.

The problem might be with Vista. I have no knowledge of it.

Right sorry, didn't mean zip file. I am double clicking. It's worked with Vista once before. Why did I have to uninstall the darn thing.

Try the right-click options. You might need Admin privileges or whatever.
