Staff Vacancies

PHP Coder / Software Programmer

As with all VA’s we wish to have a full PIREP and ACARS system for automation of pilot’s flights and are looking for an employee to join the team as a PHP Coder / Software Programmer.

This will require tracking of flights via the VATSIM data feed or, preferably, a software program installed into pilots computer tracking all flight details through the FSUIPC application. This information then would need to be uploaded to a MySQL database (provided) for use on the website.

The successful applicant will also be permitted to hire an assistant to help with the programming of such system. The applicant will also be required to attend management committee meetings on a regular basis.

I appreciate that this is not an easy challenge and would like to invite all applications or questions regarding the position to ryan[at]flyfx.co.uk. Please include details of previous experience and examples of work if applying for the position.

At Present there is no closing date for the position and any updates will be posted.

Website

We are currently in the process of changing hosting providers and once this is completed work on the website will begin and previews will be released as soon as the look is completed.

I look forward to your opinions on the Latest Developments from FlyFX.

Many Thanks,

Ryan Bradley
Chief Technical Officer
