Given a paint kit for an FS2004 aircraft with no dynamic shine to create a paint scheme with dynamic shine?

what arcraft are you looking at painting? if its a defualt FS aircraft you dont need a kit you can load the DDS textures from your computer and save onto your desktop as a BMP to edit then save back as anormal DDS

A problem you may encounter is something that you cannot change which are the 'Blinn Basic parameters', which under Gmax dictates whether the model will have reflective properties, and options how shinny, glossiness, softness etc. you can always try and test, which means making a Alpha map which is the file that will make you repaint with dynamic shine, the darker the colors the more chrome effect you may achieve, while using white or light Grey you will find it's more of a glossy look.
