I'm looking for a good small, rugged aircraft for FSX, and for a good price. Does such a thing exist?

I'm considering the Piper Super Cub by Simon Smeiman (http://fsaddon.eu/wpfsaddon/?page_id=58), but I can't find a review of it. Can anyone using it in FSX tell me about it?

Aerosoft's DHC-2 Beaver and RealAir's Decathlon Scout are great for the rugged outback Wink

Check out here: http://secure.simmarket.com/product_reviews.php?products_id=3082

I personally can recommend only Aerosoft's DHC-2... Wink

I would get that Super Cub, but for less money you can get Aerosoft's Super Cub for FS9 for $9. And it works in FSX, with or without Acceleration. I would choose a Cub over the Scout, for the performance the Cub can takeoff and landing in half the distance of the Scout. I have landed the Cub on the sides of mountain and in rivers that I can't land on in the Scout. As for the Beaver if you want to haul a lot of cargo then the Beaver is for you. Hauling nearly a ton, and it has great STOL performance. I do own the Aerosoft Cub, and the Realair Scout, but not the Beaver so I don't know what it looks like in the sim. I've dabbled in bush flying. Wink Grin

This might sound strange, but is there anything ... more obscure? I've read good things about Aerosoft and RealAir products, but are there any small payware companies who make something like what I'm looking for?

Ravang, did you say you were using the Aerosoft Super Cub in FSX? If so, can you see clouds through the windows in spot view / does the prop hide behind clouds? Those are the only things that are making me hesitate to buy the FSaddon one.
