6 episodes this series. Roll Eyes
great as always, but i'm hoping they make up for it next time out. I know they struggle with the filming for the summer series as the weather tends to make a meal of it so maybe that comes into it.

I'm curious why JK's 9th lap was recorded, the rules they made up were you have your practice laps then the final lap only was recorded no matter what. Lips Sealed And originally it was 5 laps practice 6th recorded.

It was a bit disappointing to see they let JK back in... I'm sorry, but that guy is just full of it. You could smell the 'record' from a mile away...

And oh yeah... the Nubira isn't American, it's a former Daewoo, so it's Korean!

I read sometime ago that it was changed (again). Nine laps and then your best is recorded. Not really fair to mix up these times with the old one lappers.......but anything that gives Simon Cowl a slapping can't be that bad Grin

I always think Top Gear is at its best when it’s not being too serious. They did that one show this time around that was just road test stuff and I really don’t watch TG for that. If I want pure road tests, I’ll watch 5th Gear.
This last show was just great though, the Spitfires (did anyone else spot which Spits they were?) was just magic and James realising Australia was an ally and built that VXR thing after turning up in a Gee Wiz was so funny. More of this next season and less big headed stars in the reasonably priced car please.
By the way, did I imagine it, or did the preview bit in the first show have a clip of Hammond in a racing Jaguar Mk2 that was never shown in this season?
