Ok I'm sold, will pick it up soon, love the screen shots you both posted.  Now one question, does it have Oakland Harbor/San Francisco Bay?  And what are the routes you can do?  Is it world wide like FS?

You only do small amounts of the journey ..... out of New York almost into the Atlantic... the game pauses and you then choose wether to sail a portion of the Atlantic or skip to the entrance of your chosen harbour of destination. There are  missions that you can do .... or you can roam freely about the various environments. You can change the weather and time etc.

Big truck ........ it includes San Francisco Bay!!

Harbours include Hamburg ... Rotterdam ... Southampton ... New York and with the addon New Horizons you get additional harbours and vessels. I recommend getting both the sim and addon.
