And proceed to try and fry a mechanic.
some pictures on the autosport forum F1 testing thread.
Add in the RBR factory fire from this, I'm thinking a few more problems and it'll be scrapped for a year or two, for more research.
Looking at their car, they are also the first to show design ideas for their 2009 car with the bodywork being differant in several places.

Should be interesting during the race. Static build up has been though to be one of the reasons for travel sickness. Cars pulling over and the drivers having a good chunder and then carrying on. Also in the pit stops, we now need an extra crew member.........the poor ba#tard that has to earth the car first............it you touch it quick it does not hurt so much

LOL yes they do, but in testing and practice the cars dont use that part of the pitlane.
Theres a video on youtube, i'll dig it out, of the mechanic getting shocked. He gets thrown backwards quite a distance. They are still unsure why it happend which is the main concern.
The good news is, it's not a requirement next season, only an option, the bad news is, some teams still want to run it despite problems in the hopes it'll gain them an advantage..
Reality is, KERS or no KERS, no one will be touching Mclaren or Ferrari next year***. The gap will increase amoung the mid field teams and everyone will be moaning about racing according the report on autosports site.
*** my view not reported.
