$11000 pc?!?! (Read 680 times)

I did that 'make your own pc' thing on alienware.com, and the total came out to be just over 11000 dollars. Shocked Never will i own one of them...

You pay for the product name at alienware, now try the same components at your local hardware store. it should be cheaper.

Don't buy from Alienware unless you really really need a hardcore gaming computer right away.

As stated before go to the hardware store and get some products that is the same quality as Alienware's but cheaper. Wink

...And I bet it wouldn't run the majority of applications much faster than a $2000 computer.  Roll Eyes Bang for buck FTW.

True, also a lot of applications just arent optimized to run faster on those PC's . Also because there made for a whole range of hardware specifications.

Alienware are good if you want strong and (I believe) well overclockable goods.

Your shop bought components will do the same thing, but Alienware is built of tougher stuff. Depends if you want budget or durability/alien badge.
