How do i know how many bit my XP is?

I have SP3 and XP pro, because hopefully in the future i'm plaing to build new machine for Christmas/b-day (like 20 days away from each other Tongue)

Anyways i was wondering of XP pro SP3 could support 4 Gb of RAM Wink

I believe 64 bit will.

Assume it's 32 bit.

You would have paid a gazillion dollars for a 64 bit box.

If you need further verification get one of those (free - don't pay for one) hardware analyzers like SIW or Everest.

Thanks but where does it says how many bit Wink

Didn't tell me with SIW and everest is payware Sad and i went to yahoo answers and got it from there, i'm running 32bit, how can that take 3gig max, anyway my MB can only support 2 Gigs Grin

It's 32 bit simply because the Celeron doesn't support 64 bit.

32bit supports 4GB of RAM, but you won't be able to access all of it.
