Okay, I appreciate all the hard work that goes into making new panels and all. I really do. But I am getting very tired of installing aircraft and panels that are supposedly FSX compatible only to get the message "this gauge was created for FS98 or earler, and is not compatible" about a hundred times when I try to load the airplane. What is the deal with these? Am I missing something here? Is there suppose to be something in a service pack somewhere that makes these gauges work? Or should I not even bother? I mean, I just downloaded an F-16 panel that was all about FSX. It was the "new" F-16 panel for FSX.....and it didn't work. The A-10 Thunderbolt II. Again, for FSX. But the panel won't work. Is it somehow my system? Is anyone else having these problems?

Sadly no. The chief problem is the result of the eager folks
uploading
these things not really understanding what they're doing...

As FR. Bill said, things like that were due to improper up-loading of non-FSX add-on's into the FSX download sections. The original designers designed them for FS9. Some times, it's a crap-shoot. But I think that sort of thing is being more closely monitored.

I Love Simviation.
the Most funny thing Its they are much easier to do its now than before (I don't know how to do it ,But i swear of *** because of my last huge issue I will learn,no matter what )
See maybe the 70% of the gauges around there where made before 1998 or latter using gaumaker for FS98 ,
Unbeliabable all the gauges of FS2000 and 2002 works fine in FSX
, perhaps designers like me just get use to
steal
brake the law and take
gauges and not make them
