Lets see em guys.
Can Lewis win it on home soil? or will it be another walk in the park for the red cars? Or could the traditional british weather throw a surprise winner into the mix?

ENTRIES CLOSE AT 1200 BST SATURDAY

Raikkonen
Massa
Hamilton

I hope Lewis can beat at least one red car, but I can't honestly see it. It could be either Massa or Raikkonen for the win but I reckon Kimmi will be more up for it after the last race.

Hamilton
Kova
Kimi

I think it will be a walk in the park for the silver cars Cheesy

Would be good if we have some usual british weather, spice things up a bit!

According to the Met Office there is the possibility of heavy showers during the day on Saturday.... so qualifying could be really interesting. In the light of that I'm going to hold off putting down a prediction until Friday.  Grin Grin
The weather prediction for Sunday is wet and windy ......but as yet no detail so it could be an even more interesting race.  Grin Grin

My selections

Massa
Lewis
Kimi

I sort of think Lewis might win this one, but little Massa is on a role and if he can take a firm hold of the title race in the next 2 or 3 races Ferrari and Kimi will back him to the end, as repayment for last year.

You really think so? Im suprised at that! Then, thinking about it, they may well do, as when Alonso arrives there either 2009 or 2010, Massa (if hes still around) will  be in 'Barrichello mode' and it may be his last chance.

But i just dont see Kimi moving over for him in the same way Massa did in brazil last year, unless its that close at the season end.

Also, Kimi was some way behind at this point last season - 17 points was it? Silverstone seemed to be the turning point i guess, after Massas stall/gear selection issus or whatever on the grid..

But now Massa is ahead, if they were going to back him, nows the time. But i just cant see it, not at all.....sorry! Cheesy

Wont be upto Kimi so much as it will be a team decision.
They've already said and Kimi has said that they'll Back Massa if it becomes clear that he's the best shot to win the title.
Still not sure where this Alonso to ferrari thing is coming from, latest rumor from the paddock is that Alonso has signed a long term deal at Honda to partner Button from possibly next year maybe 2010.

Kimi has said that has he? Hmm thats interesting. But then i do get the feeling from what ive read that Kimis won his title and its only a matter of time before he calls it a day, so maybe i guess hes not too botherd - seeing how his form has yo-yo'd over the season. If hed been dominant from the start, then maybe it might be different...?

The honda thing i read in autosport the other week - it was a good read, and it would also be interesting to see how he fared against Button....obviously we dont know what Honda or any other team may have in store for next season with the regs changing, but if it is Honda he goes to, it must be somthing pretty convincing......Renault some weeks ago where already trying to find reasons to make him stay, so somthing has happend, thats for sure.

Although it is only rumour, i still wonder if somthing happend at monaco with Alonso and Ferrari, Kimi was blatantly 'off form' that day and i wonder if it was all down to 'car set up' and 'heating the tyres up' - i guess i may be reading to much into it, but maybe somthing else unsettled Kimi? Maybe a descision was made for him then much the same way it was made for Mr Schumacher, strangley by the arrival of Kimi?

The only reason i wonderd is that id read about similar occasions, mainly Mansell in 1992, suddenly missing apexes and being all over the place, in a season when he was generaly the force to be reckoned with, around the time he discoverd Prost had indeed signed for Williams months before!

Probably wrong though, but thought it mention it!  Cheesy

It's possible.

Monty like to waffle on about ferrari's loyalty and passion, but the reality is, Monty himself likes to stab his drivers in the back when a new flavor of the month comes along.

I had a minor laugh at that. Anythings possible i suppose,  if it chucks it down - just hope hes not heading for the microphone on BBC replacing Martin, instead of the cock James Allen!!!
