Can't say I'm too pleased to have popup adverts appear whenever I log in to the Premiere service.  Thought that paying for the service would avoid such distractions.

Sorry you're getting this problem.

After a system upgrade a new login is required. This was emailed to all members. Apologies if you did not get it.

If you either bookmark the main page (www.simviation.com) & click in from there - or bookmark the link http://www.simviation.com/members/identify.php you should not get pop under ads.

By going direct to the members menu page, the new system generates pages dynamically and the old login page does not eliminate the pop up ad.

Let me know if you have any further problems and thank you for your support.

Thanks Pete.  Didn't know about the new page.

Great site.  Thanks to all who make it possible.

Sorry to say that I'm still getting psychedelic fish on a separate page when I log in using your new members link.

Can you please give some extra info?

There is no ad code at all in the members site area. The new login only accesses members pages - Maybe your browser is caching the page you previously visited?

If you go to www.simviation.com - force refresh the page (Ctrl F5) & click the Express Members link - enter details.

Any ad code is there from cache as there is zero ad code in any member pages.
Thanks for the feedback - it's always the case that in any upgrade/change there will be a few problems. We take great care in being genuinely on our users side. One report means others are experiencing this too.

We at Simviation never ignore user problems & fix things ASAP - always.   Smiley

Thanks for the helpful and speedy reply.

It only happens when first I log in.  I'll empty the cache before I shut down tonight and see what happens in the morning.

I cleaned out all the temporary Internet Files from IE7 (Win XP SP3).

When I logged in to Simviation Premier after re-starting IE, I again got an unwanted top tab from http://media.fastclick.net/w/pc.cgi?mid=249229&sid=8222 in addition to the Simviation Premier page.

The login link I am using is http://www.simviation.com/members/identify.php as recommended.  It generates a login page to enter user name and password.  After entering the login data and OKing out, the popup appears.  Login itself works fine.

Thanks for your continuing help in tracking this down.

I am not sure why this is happening. If you look at page source you should see there is no ad code whatsoever in the html (if you can read html ... )

Could you try Ctrl F5 when loading each page? Somehow it seems your browser seems to be caching the ad code from a previous visit.

Thanks

I'm a web developer amongst other things, so I am happy digging round in code.  But I haven't found a way yet to see the code behind your alert login box which is where, I guess, the redirection starts from.

I've tried removing all cookies - no effect.

Clearing all temp internet files had no effect.

There is a short delay between clicking to log in and getting the two tabs in IE7 - Simviation behind and advert in front.  Feels like it is being redirected somewhere, but I can't see what is going on.

I'm running out of ideas now.

I just paid $20 on 7/30 for my renewal and now the site can't recognize my e-address. I sent a few e-mails to the posted help address but haven't had any resoponse. I can still post here but lost my premiere login. Any suggestions?
