Just tooling around the northern Italian alps with the Italian plain in the background.  Paul Rebuffat model from here.
IMHO, I realize the sponsor, but single aircraft themes can be difficult when there are so few decent freeware models out there, as is the case here.  I like more the Battle of Britain, Desert Storm kind of contests.

This could be the winner. The nicest one I've seen so far.
And I agree with you about the lack of good freeware Spits. The only good Spit I know of is the RealAir, which of course is payware!

Lets see some nice freeware Spits, SimV! The demand is here. Smiley

Alphasim claims to have a freeware Spit but doesnt seem accessible on their site.  Did they yank it?  Never release it?
