AA would help a lot with this shot...

Anti Aliasing... it smoothens the edges.

Another thing I noticed is that you overcompressed the shot... it's only 50 or so KB out of the 150 allowed... what program did you use to resize?

Oh and welcome to the forums... I thought when I saw the name that you might be Dutch .... I suppose Belgian ain't so bad either Tongue

The AA had been set up.
I use a lap top perhaps for this reason the edges are not as smoot.
I use paint shop pro photo XI as editor.
