I have used it since the betas and have had no problems. Although I heard that it is running very slow for some.

I've been using it since the Beta's ...... with no problems it's a heck of a lot faster than 2. The  fact that your favourites and history are shown when you start typing an address can be useful if you need to find an overlooked site fast.
On the down side ..... the above feature can prove to be a PITA if you've been up to no good and you don't want the wife / parents questioning why when you type www.L , every lesbian picture and video site shows up below the address bar  Grin Grin Grin

has eno been naughty?? Tongue

i had a few issues with beta's being slow and using alot of memory, but the current release is sound, and a welcome upgrade from FF2, the favourites feature thing is very useful for quickly going to what you want.

I think I've actually stopped Firefox from automatically upgrading my Firefox to the next version.

When it has happened previously, I found that all my precious Bookmarks in my list, (big list!), had been removed, (emptied!), giving me horrendous problems in trying to locate and replace them all over again!... Angry...!

(It can be done quickly and easily in Internet Explorer*, but NOT in Firefox!).... Sad...!

So, unless Version 3 incorporates some worth-while improvements, I think I will stick to my Version 2 for the present!.... Smiley...!

Paul... Fox Firing...Cool...!

Don't know why that should be. Never happened to me. AFAIK

Did you ever manage to install the British English version of Firefox?

Whenever I installed an up dated version of Firefox it always came (empty),, as in the Basic version, which excluded all my existing Bookmarks..!
So I had to start all over again....including finding all my previous Bookmarks...

IE can "Import" all its Bookmarks from its previous IE edition... Smiley...!

...but Firefox can only Import Bookmarks from IE.... not from a previous installed edition of Firefox!

They all have to be found in the Windows Registry Mozilla Folder, and replaced Manually...which old Fozz finds unnecessarily complicated....and never works*... Cry...!

Complication always gives me a headache... Angry...!

Paul... Grin...!

P.S.  Got the Outer Mongolia version Of Firefox, Doug.... Wink...!

* Ozzy led me through this procedure some time ago...the only way it works...

Mozilla only give you ONE choice of Bookmark Import....Internet Explorer only...not from a location of your choice!

Paul ,you still got all your bookmarks, there just hidden in a profile file, its a normal HTML with all the links in it. although the name is different then the normal file in wich there loaded. Ive had this problem to a few times, if you google it up you will find a lot of ways to fix this. Smiley
