Continuing the Europe tour.  Flew from Frankfurt, Germany to Zagreb, Croatia aboard a Croatia Airlines A319.  It was a night flight so no shots.  Added yet another airline to my list of flown for...then decided to go for 2 and take Turkish Airlines to Istanbul.

Mid afternoon and lining up for takeoff...storm moving in we didn't waist any time getting out of Zagreb.

Up and away.

Descending into Istanbul...spoilers up and trying to slow down on a very steep approach thanks to ATC vectoring me in a little late.

Needless to say I didn't make the landing...Shot over Ataturk International well over 1,500 feet to high   Taking a sharp bank and climbing back to 5,000 for yet another try.

Second time was the charm...made a nice smooth landing and was able to make it to the gate only 4 minutes late...sometimes I hate ATC...usually vectored in to low...but sometimes way to high.
