Seriously I think Hollywood ran out of ideas ,Haven't you notice all movies specialy science fiction movies are rewind Old Ideas ?
the last science fiction Movie ORIGINAL was Back to the Future of Robert Zemeckis ,and Matrix By the same Guys who are about to have the biggest Failure of ticket office... ..
Independence day can't count Its a Darn copy of Orson Welles 's Novel
I have pass thru 4 decades I used to go a lot to the movies ,I like all kind of pictures and science fiction ones , The Best For Me of All time would be "Contact" But this doesn't count because its a novel made by the greatest Astronomer Cosmologist and TEACHER of all Time Carl Sagan and its a serious and kind of deep ,its more for astronomers or Nerds like me..

You are so right, my friend!
Originality is no longer the norm in Hollywood.
As for me, give me a movie made outside the US, ie. French, Australian.
As a matter of fact, I just finished watching Opal Dreams (Australia) just now.

to be honest speed racer is pretty linear, they can't add anything interesting, and with it being the wathowski brothers who had like one good idea (the origional matrix film) they just pump in special effects and CGI to make up for lack of everything!
i'm going to be honest, being bored with action/boy films, i watch attonement the other week and i enjoyed it more than most new action films i see

this is a deep and true coment , Nothing Miss from the past ,is Get Smart , INdiana Jones, the incredble Hulk , really Even Batman comes again, Now this is new a RE-RE-REmade fashion is Borning again ,Superman is a remaking of a 1981 remaking
there is no Talent ..
Now there is this movie of Will Smith I bet Is something already done in the past (he's some kind of superman or something )
