GA Ai Question (Read 586 times)

Been readin on here for about an hour lookig for the answer but can't find it. I did some editing t my home airport (KFYJ). Added plnty of prking, I think theres close to 30 GA spots now. I started messing around with maing some new flightplans today to get som more traffic in there. I edited the one original AI flight that coms in and out of there and changed it from a M7 to a 172 and added a Piper Cub and a Baron and a King Air. The AI always seems to b parked in the same spot and the Cub was sittin there. The 172 that was the original flight plan landed and dissapeared on rollout. nybody hav any idea why it didn't go park in a spot? Is the reason bcause the Cub was sittin in the spot where it usually parks and if so, how do you change that?

FSX?....and what program did you use to edit your airport?

Normally if an ac lands and then disappears it's because there is no parking available. Just creating parking spots doesn't make them available, they must be connected (via apron and/or taxiway links) to the runway taxi link

Sounds like you added the parking spots, but are they properly connected to the runway(s)?

Append: I checked the FSX default KFYJ and see it has plenty of parking. Maybe in your editing you 'broke' the taxi links somewhere.

Yeah, I had connected them all. I think most of them might have been a lil to small. I think I got it all figured out now. Thnks for your help. I added about ten flight plans and aircraft and that place is alive now. If I could figure out how to get the A King Air o fly in circles over top of it and dump some skydivers out, it would be just like real life
