Hello all,
I have FS2004 and a MS force feed back 2 stick and all is fine on all the default aircraft and most of the add ons I have, but on a small number of them (mostly payware, but some free ware) there is very limited, if at all, return to center tension.
On the aircraft it does work with, the return to center tension increases as the airspeed does simulating airflow over the control surfaces and the extra effort needed to move them as speeed increases. On these few where this does not work, there is no tension and the stick feels very slack and without this tension I find it hard to center the stick and consequently fly straight and level.
As I've said it works fine on most aircraft so I know that it isnt a hardware issue, I've looked at the config and air files but I cant find any obvious setting that could change the RTC tension and have even compared the files with known "good" files, but cant see any obvious differences that might help either, I've also asked for help on one of the retailer's forums but as yet have received no reply let alone any help or advice.
So does anyone here know of a setting in the air or config files that will increase the return to center tension for my stick?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
