I am suprised I didnt think of this earlier.

Is it possible to use the mouse scroll wheel as a rudder in FSX?

If yes then I can probably build some rudder pedals fairly quickly- I have the brakes as the buttons and the mouse wheel as the moving mechanism.

Cheers

You could try using FSUIPC i think that might work, although you might want to read the manual first to see if that works. And i cant see how your going to use the mouse as rudder/pedal set-up, or will you just keep it on your desktop.?

A secondary mouse probably. Have one for navigating the screen then use the other for rudder.

I have a PS/2 to USB thing so I am sure it would work in that sense, and it should only take the output of whatever is operating at that time. I have used multiple keyboards- so why not mice? If I did buy a USB mouse then it could register it as a different piece of hardware and perhaps with tweaking would mean clicking one mouse would not make it as if I had clicked the other (so I can navigate the cockpit with one mouse and click things without it intefering with the brakes. Or that is the theory)
