hi there i am new to this but i do have an idea.
i would like to create a hard deck naval ship unlike the ones in fsx. it would be for fsx and i need help on how to get started ie what programmes i would need ect..  thanks for any help!

If you are planning to actually make such a model then you will need to use a tool such as GMax (3ds Max) or FSDS 3.5
