May's here ...and with it arrives more mighty releases from jetliner masters at the Historic Jetliners Group.

A relatively small website update in comparason with those of previous months, but, an one that's no less significant in what it has to offer ...featuring another great selection of new and upgraded textures, panels, and flight dynamics for both FS2004 and FSX.

Among HJG's latest Boeing texture releases this month are an attractively liveried Colombian B707-120B of 1977. A lesser known and colourful US B707-320 of 1979. A classic Argentinian B707-320B ADVC of 1972. B707-320C's representing a Chillean freight carrier of 1989 ...and a 1994 aircraft operated by the transport wing of a major European air force. A rare B707-420 used as a ground/engineering trainer by a major German airline during the 1990's. And B720-B's in the psychedellic 1974 livery of a classic Colombian airline ...along with an attractively liveried aircraft of Scandinavian origin and 1981.

Military Boeing releases from HJG this month include 5 new KC135-R textures ...representing 3 variations of livery for aircraft operated by a major Asian defence force. An rare aircraft from Turkey. And yet another USAF version operated by one of the US state ANG wings.

A great new selection of BAe 146-300/RJ-100 textures have also just been released by HJG. These all represent aircraft from Albania, Australia, Great Britain, Spain, and Switzerland of the 1990's and more recent times ...among which include the British Airways Landor livery, the attractive BUZZ/KLM scheme, and a great looking Fly Be/Mansion hybrid liveried aircraft.

Last but by no means least of HJG's new aircraft texture releases for May is the 1982 livery for a DC8-63CF operated by a major US suplimental carrier.

But ...that's not the lot !

Enhancements of previously released HJG aircraft textures this month include 1970's liveries for B707-120B & -120BF aircraft from Colombia. Asian and middle Eastern B707-320C liveries of the 1980's. As well as 1970's liveries for Colombian and Scandinavian B720-B aircraft.

But still ...there's more !

A further improved B707 panels Core Files package is also now available. Improvements and new features offerred by this update include selectable V-REF data, PS7 pressure gauges for HJG's B707-420 panel, and other general refinements in programming. New B707 TYPE panels have also been released for B367-80 (also intended for C135-A, KC135-A, and NKC135-A aircraft), B707-138 (1959), B707-138B, & B707-138B (1965). Specific information regarding these panel/gauges updates may be found on the "NEWS & ANNOUNEMENTS" page of the HJG forum.

And last but by no means least of all !

New Aircraft Base Packs have also been released for HJG's B367-80, and both BAe 146-300 & BAe-300QT aircraft ...featuring further enhanced FDE. Once again ...kindly refer to the HJG forum announcements for further information regarding this data.

All this and a whole lot more is now available for "FREE" download from the HJG website at the following address...

As always our sincere thanks and appreciation go to Mr Pete DALEY/SIMVIATION.COM for their continued support ! Wink

Folks .... those of you whom downloaded and installed the latest FDE revision for our BAe 146-300 & BAe 146-300QT aircraft  (mentioned in my above PR) will quite likely have been confronted with aircraft that "BOUNCE" themselves to destruction within a few seconds of taxiing Shocked

Whilst this FDE checked out fine during testing something within it seems likely to have become corrupted during the transfer process to HJG UPLOADS .... and its eventual uploading to the HJG website Undecided

Firstly .... we appologise for this inconvenience ! Embarrassed

Secondly .... we will very soon be uploading repaired FDE for both of these aircraft models .... and I'll make general public announcements for as soon as these become available Wink

Shouldn't be to far away now ! Smiley

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT HJG "UNBOUNCEMENT"/ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL OUR BAe 146 FANS !

Many of you will have been aware of a problem affecting our recently updated BAe 146 Aircraft Base Packs .... uploaded on "MAY 8TH/8TH 2008".

This problem (corrupted FDE) caused these aircraft to "BOUNCE" uncontrollably during taxiing .... eventually causing a virtual crash of the aircraft.

HJG are pleased to announce the cause of this problem has now been identified and "FIXED".

New Aircraft Base Packs for both "BAe 146-300" and "BAe 146-300QT FREIGHTER" aircraft have now been uploaded and are available for public download.

Those installing our BAe 146 aircraft for the very first time must perform a full installation of the complete Aircraft Base Pack files for these aircraft models and in accordance with the instructions provided.

Those replacing their original faulty FDE files also need to download the new BAe 146-300 and Bae 146-300QT Aircraft Base Packs .... then install only the repaired AIRCRAFT.CFG and AIR files .... completely overwriting all their original data. REMEMBER TO ADD YOUR "FLTSIM.X" DATA TO EACH NEW CFG FILE PRIOR TO OVERWRITING.

Again we appologise for the inconvenience suffered by many of our BAe 146 fans.

Special thanks to Mike MONCE for his prompt attention to this FDE repair, and to Darren KNAPTON from New Zealand for assisting my confirming these replacement data files perform "FINE", and also to my colleague Dan KJELDSTROM-HANSEN for quickly getting these new files publicly uploaded for us all.

Thanks for your co-operation everyone ! Wink
