Hi guys, I have about 5 months with less work to do and so I thought it might be nice to see if we can develop our Simworld gallery.

Let's see if there's any interest.

This first theme is North Africa, as we have almost nothing in Simworld from that neglected continent - and north Africa features some popular tourist destinations. So we're looking for pictures from those Muslim states that stretch along the North African coast, as well as anything from those arid states north of the Equator.

Guidelines
Put your entries in this thread below either as code without image quotes, or thumbnails. The pics can have planes in, they can be of airports, they may feature payware and some basic enhancements (no composites though)... but
the scenery should be a dominant part of the shot
. The shot should also be of good quality - all submitted shots are very welcome, but not all may be chosen, as Simworld is also an 'art gallery'... Smiley

Edit (thanks Specter177) - Check out the existing pics in this thread before you make your own... just so we don't end up with 100 pics of the pyramids  Wink Grin

We'll run this thread for around a week and see how it goes...

Cheers

Alright Specter, you've inspired me to check out Morocco...

Some of these might be suitable for Simworld I think.

I hope we see some other entries over the next 10 days or so. Then we'll try another part of the world  Smiley

Cheers

Opps!  I just noticed it's not all of Africa, but just North Africa. Well how about South Africa also.  Huh It's very pretty down there.

We absolutely could use some of them, thanks Bob, I'll put in the last two  Smiley!

All contributions to Africa are welcome, or the whole world in fact, though I was hoping to narrow it down to a certain region, posting Cape Town is a bit like having the topic 'Northern Europe" and having someone post pictures of Spain  Cheesy

But all contributions are very welcome, keep 'em coming!

My favourite shot so far from the target area, by Bob70:

Shows that this region can be beautiful in FS!

Simworld gallery now updated with the best so far  Cool

A few more. These are from Timbuktu, Mali.... which is just on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Compression hurt some of these, but I think they still look good!
