Set up a flight with you favourite aircraft and location and save the flight then locate the saved FLT file with the Plane you chose and open it with notepad
add this section to the FLT File and save ...
Load the flight and use the Shift - D key to drop the bombs
The FLT files are located in - My Documents\Flight Simulator X Files

Download the F104 on FS2004, military jets, page 79. The installation instruction are a bit hard to understand (I think the fellow that wrote it is German, and the translation is a bit rough), but it has instructions on how to activate the weapons under "[smokesystem]" in the aircraft config file.
Once you've done that, you can "cut-n-paste" the weapons lines "[smokesystem] into the "[smokesystem]" of the aircraft.cfg file for *almost* any aircraft you want, modify the "line" numbers. I say, and emphasize *almost*, because for some reason I haven't figured out yet, it doesn't work for all aircraft. Adding the effects to the Airwolf heli turns it into a flying fireworks display, yet I get nadda when I try to add the effects to the Me262-HG3. Go figure.
Of course, effects wise, you cannot damage a building or take down a bridge, or remove an AI from your favorite piece of sky, but the napalm effects are most gratifying.
Again, it's hit or miss as to what AC the effects work with.
Edit to add: I've only done this in FS9, and haven't tried it in FSX, yet.

I remember downloading a weapons pack from simviation that supposedly had a nuke , but the effects folder is empty.
I think that was from the FS2002 miscl section.
There's a weapons pack for FSX, but I never bothered fiddling with it since it seemed to be more of a pain in the arse to use than it was worth (at free, what can you say?
)
Your mileage may vary.
It should be on page 7

I only know of 1 Nuke Effect and it is only for FS9. basically, all it is .. is the mushroom cloud. It will NOT destroy scenery items like buildings, trees, etc. and there is no sound to it (like the boom).
