Hi

I'm having some issues with IL-2 1946 and vista. I'm running Vista Premium 64 bit, and I've installed the game okay. Whenever I try and run the game, it comes up with the CD cursor, and then does nothing. In task manager I see that the il2fb.exe file opens, uses about 50% CPU, and gains memory usage until about 72megs, then it just dies. Running in compatibility mode, as administrator, in openGL or directX, nothing makes a difference.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Have you tried doing various searches around the internet for the same problem? I spent a couple hours searching the web trying to get ArmA running on my system. Turned out that the game doesn't run with over 3gb of ram

I think it's vista 64bit, I tried it on vista 64 bit one time, it wouldnt boot, but on vista 32bit it works fine, so i think it's the 64bit version of vista.
